For more than 30 years, thousands of people each year go to the kite festival organized by the town of Berk-sur-Mer, France. With my camera in hand, I observe color constellations that rise in the sky, held by a bond that seems to be at breaking point at every instant. But the mist rises today and spoils the party. The people disperse, some disappear into the distance. It doesn't matter, they will come back tomorrow. I hear the roar of an engine and raise my head to see an airplane as it passes over us.
I think about Antoine de Saint-Exupery who wrote that “all men and women were children once, but few of them remember”.

They, do.
